After the night in the desert camp you drive through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas with its cedar forests to Fes, the oldest of the four imperial cities.
Over the Tizi n’Tichka pass to Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. Then along the Road of the Kasbahs, past Skoura and the Valley of Roses, into the Dades Valley. Dinner and night in Boumalne Dades.
Walk in the Todra Gorge, then via Tinjdad and Erfoud to the edge of the Sahara. In the late afternoon, camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes, sunset on the dune and night in the desert camp.
Sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at the camp. Through the Ziz Valley and its palm oases to Midelt, with views of Jbel Ayachi. Through the cedar forests near Azrou and the mountain town of Ifrane, you reach Fes in the evening.
