Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website. In short: we use no cookies and no tracking or advertising services. We count visits anonymously on our own server.

1. Controller

MED MAROKKO REISEN SARL AU, represented by Mohammed Toulali

Office: N 223 Gueliz, 40000 Marrakech, Morocco

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger on a server in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. On every visit the server automatically stores technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, page visited, referring page, browser and operating system. We need this data to run the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not combine it with any other data.

3. No cookies, anonymous visit count

We use no cookies, no analytics tools such as Google Analytics and no advertising or tracking services. Fonts, scripts and videos load directly from our own server, not from Google or other providers.

To see how many visits our pages get, we count page views on our own server. We store only the date, the page visited, the domain of the page you came from (for example google.com), your browser’s preferred language (for example en-GB) and whether you use a mobile device or a computer. We also count clicks on our WhatsApp buttons (only the date and the page). We store no IP address and no identifier, and nothing is stored on your device. You cannot be identified from this data. The numbers never leave our server and are deleted after 14 months (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Maps on the tour pages

The route maps on the tour pages show map images from OpenStreetMap, run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation in the United Kingdom. When you scroll to a map, your browser loads these images from their servers, which passes your IP address to them. We use the map to show the route clearly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The United Kingdom is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. More in the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.

5. Contact by WhatsApp, email and phone

When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we process your details (for example name, phone number, travel dates and message) to answer your request and organise your trip (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The WhatsApp links open WhatsApp’s service, which is covered by the WhatsApp privacy policy. The tailor-made form stores no data on our server: it only prepares a message that you send to us yourself through WhatsApp.

6. Links to Instagram, Facebook and TripAdvisor

Our website contains plain links to our profiles. Only when you click a link do you reach that provider, whose privacy policy then applies. Simply visiting our website sends no data to them.

7. Storage period

We keep requests and booking data for as long as they are needed for your trip and for legal retention obligations. After that they are deleted.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Just send us an email. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
