Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tangier
Pick-up at the port or airport. A walk through the kasbah and the medina, then to Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, and the Caves of Hercules. Night in Tangier.
- Day 2
Tangier → Tetouan → Chefchaouen
Drive to Tetouan and its white medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On through the Rif to Chefchaouen. Afternoon in the blue lanes, night in a riad.
- Day 3
Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Over the hills to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and to Meknes with Bab Mansour. Arrival in Fes in the evening.
- Day 4
Fes
A full day in the oldest imperial city with a local guide: Bab Boujloud, the Bou Inania madrasa, the Chouara tannery and the craftsmen’s souks.
- Day 5
Fes → Rabat
Drive to the capital. The Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V mausoleum and the blue and white lanes of the Kasbah of the Udayas. Night in Rabat.
- Day 6
Rabat → Casablanca → Marrakech
Visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, then on to Marrakech and your accommodation.
